The Bermuda Taxi Owners and Operators Association (BTOA) is committed to improving Bermuda’s taxi industry’s overall service and reliability. To achieve this, we are launching a public survey to gather valuable feedback from the Bermuda public, visitors, and international business stakeholders. 

We understand the importance of offering a high-quality taxi service that meets our customers’ expectations. This survey is part of a broader initiative to enhance every aspect of the industry, from the dispatch services and pre-arranged booking companies to the quality of vehicles and the professionalism of operators.

Our Goals:

  • Align with Customer Expectations: We know what needs to be improved within the industry and have outlined our plans, but we want to ensure our solutions match the expectations of the Bermuda public and those who rely on our services.
  • Public Input for Industry Improvement: Your feedback will help us identify key areas that need attention and will directly influence how we modernize and enhance the taxi experience.
  • Training and Upskilling Operators: We are committed to finding ways to train, upskill, and improve the professionalism of our operators and staff. Your input will assist in shaping the development of new training programs and customer service standards.

   We seek your feedback on the reliability, response times, and fees related to taxi dispatch services. We want to improve the process to ensure faster, more reliable service when booking a taxi.

   Professionalism and customer service are critical to a positive experience. We aim to set higher standards for taxi operators, and your input on their behavior and service will guide us in providing training and support.

  1. Vehicle Quality:  

Vehicle cleanliness, safety, and comfort are essential to your experience. We are looking to upgrade and maintain higher standards for taxis operating in Bermuda.

  1. Solutions for Reliability:  

We know that taxi no-shows and unavailability during peak times are significant concerns. We’re working on solutions to improve the availability of taxis and ensure they are ready when you need them most.
