AUGUSTUS FUNERAL HOME REGRETS TO ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF: – Elaine Ann Crockwell. A service celebrating the life of ELAINE, loving wife of Garrett Crockwell; mother of the late Lynaé Brown; daughter to Allen Sr and Meredith Brown; sister of Uvonne, Allen Jr, and Allana Brown, in her 48th year of Ord Road, Warwick will be held at Heritage Worship Centre, Dundonald Street on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 at 1.00 pm. Interment will follow at Christ Church, Devonshire. Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Friday, February 23rd, 2024, from 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm also at New Testament Church of God Heritage Worship Centre on Saturday, February 24th, 2024, from 12.00 to 12.50 pm. Granddaughter of the late David and Nila Brown (Jamaica), the late Ethel Lightbourn and the late Harry Landy; aunts Loretta Bascome, Mertha Francis (John), Hazel Brown, Jennifer Lightbourne (deceased) Sandra Adams (deceased), Roberta Caines (deceased); uncles Verneil Brown (Debra Kay) Harry Landy Jr, Robert Lightbourne (Palmetta), Irvin, Jerome and Wendell Lightbourne (deceased). Elaine is lovingly survived by nieces ShaZarià Francis-Brown, Brooklyn Brown, Tourryn, and Zae’ya Crockwell and nephews Umari Jarrett-Brown and Blake Brown; sisters-in-law Nicole Crockwell and Kal-Lyn Crockwell; godchildren Ngarryan Darrell, Ahmir Wilson, Darikae Bulford, Anvi Cann, ChinShay Durham, Danasia Curtis, ShaZarià Francis-Brown, and Musiq Smith. Elaine will be missed by numerous cousins, relatives and close friends, including the Taxi community. The family would like to thank the Doctors and staff at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PALS, Greater Heights Church Family, taxi clients, and colleagues.
