Where only one or less than required nomination’s has been received for a position, and no additional nominations are submitted, the nominee will be confirmed to the position once the nomination is formally seconded by an active BTOA member at the Annual General Meeting.
Positions Without Nominations
At the close of the nomination period, the following positions have not received nominations:

Pubic Relations Officer

2 of 3 Drivers’ Representatives (Non-Taxi Permit Holders)
These roles may still be filled through nominations made from the floor during the Annual General Meeting. Any nomination made on the night must be seconded by an active BTOA member in order to proceed.
2026-2028 Executive Committee Nominations
The Bermuda Taxi Owners and Operators Association (BTOA) advises members that nominations for Executive positions for the upcoming term have now closed. Based on the nominations received by the deadline, the following members have been nominated for the respective Executive roles:
Confirmation of Executive Officers
Where the number of nominees does not exceed the number of available positions, and the nominations are properly seconded by active members, those nominees will be confirmed to the Executive without the need for a contested vote.
Annual General Meeting
The confirmation of Executive positions and any required voting will take place at the BTOA Annual General Meeting.

Only active BTOA members in good standing are eligible to second nominations or participate in voting. Members are encouraged to attend and participate in the governance of the Association.
If multiple nominations are received for a position, a vote of eligible members will be conducted in accordance with the Association’s governance procedures.
